Farah Misquitta has been a pioneer educational technology specialist for over 14 years. Working closely with classroom teachers, students, pedagogical heads and principals, Farah strives to achieve best practice technology infusion into teaching and learning with high energy. Her expertise in the field of eLearning and Web 2.0 technologies with her team has led the school she has worked in to be a Google app and an Apple Distinguished School 2020 - 2022 and 2022- 2025.
She Heads the Education Technology at Oberoi International school for both campuses in Mumbai, India and is deeply committed to helping students and teachers understand the transformational power of technology. Being a Design teacher and examiner in the IB-MYP program for over 7 years has further enhanced the approach to problem solving, activating and empowering learners and teachers with key strategies in implementing newer technologies.
Farah is and Apple learning Specialist (APLS ) and has also conducted various in-house tech related trainings for her school and even other schools around the globe. Her expertise in rolling out systems and integrating meaningful technology has led her to being sought after keynote speaker in schools in India and Asia Pacific based schools. As an Technology specialist, she uses her passion for cutting-edge technology to discover creative ways to assist schools in meeting their learning and productivity goals.
